The Lancet, in collaboration with Professor Charlotte Watts and Dr Cathy Zimmerman, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and Dr Claudia Garcia Moreno, WHO, is publishing a new Series of papers on violence against women and girls.

The five papers in the Series cover the evidence base on prevention, the health sector response, the role of men and women in successful prevention efforts, practical lessons from those working on the ground, and call for specific actions to eliminate violence against women and girls.

Join us for a mini-symposium to launch the Series, chaired by Richard Horton, Editor-in-Chief, The Lancet. The Series booklet, containing the five papers and accompanying Comments, will be available at the launch.
